We are a family friendly local football club, Just at the start of new season,hopefully as successful as the last 3.This year we continue to play with our new name AFC Lightning (formerly we were called AFC Holmer Green). We are based in South Buckinghamshire playing and training in the beautiful surrounds of The Misbourne School, Great Missenden and Lightning Park, Cryers Hill for older age groups. We are affiliated to the Berks & Bucks FA and playing in the South Bucks Mini Soccer Conference, Wycombe & South Bucks Minor Football League and the Bucks Girls Football League. We have over 200 children playing in our various teams, aged between 5 and 16 years old and since April 2005, we've made great progress in establishing ourselves as the region's top pace setter. We welcome players (boys and girls) of all abilities and from all areas.We are a charter standard club and all our coaches are F.A Level 1 or more.
